Why a school garden?

Nuestro centro ha estado trabajando el huerto escolar desde hace cuatro años, y pensamos compartir nuestra práctica y experiencia con otros centros e Instituciones Europeas, así nosotros ofrecimos y promovimos la idea del trabajo común de agricultura bajo dos condiciones: tener un huerto en sus escuelas o cerca de ellas, y designar una persona encargada de la coordinación de las actividades a llevar a cabo por el alumnado en el huerto.
Todos los socios sienten la necesidad urgente de promover la educación medioambiental entre las próximas generaciones, sensibilizar a nuestros alumnos y enriquecernos con el conocimiento que la asociación nos puede ofrecer, a través del aprendizaje compartido será una experiencia inolvidable.
Our school center has been working for four years, and we decided to share our practice and experience with other European cetres and institutions, so we offered and promoted the common work within agriculture under two conditions: having a garden in their schools or close to them and designating a coordinator to carry out the pupils' activities in the garden.
All the members feel the urgent necessity of encouraging future generations in environmental education, making aware our pupils and being enriched with the knowledge which the asociation can offer us; through the shared knowledge, it will be an unforgettable experience.
